Landscape Design

Our landscape designs are tailored specifically to your garden requirements while considering the style and microclimate of your home.

Whether you want to create a tranquil escape for relaxation, an engaging space for gatherings, or a sustainable environment with native plants, a garden design helps streamline these goals. It will ensure that every element—from plant selection to layout—aligns with your vision, maximises the use of space, and suits your lifestyle — making your outdoor spaces and garden a valuable extension of your home.

Our design process is collaborative with opportunities to provide input and feedback at key steps.

Quotes are determined by the size and complexity of the site. Please note: a surveyor may be required in the case of steep sloping sites.

STEP 1: ONSITE MEETING

  • Connect and get to know each other
  • Discuss the design brief and consider garden influences
  • Client approves the quote and design brief, and pays the deposit.

STEP 2: SITE ASSESSMENT

  • Measure and assess the overall garden
  • Site photos and soil samples taken for testing
  • Identification of privacy, noise issues and other neighbouring factors

STEP 3: CONCEPT PLANNING

  • Development of the concept plan/s based on the design brief and site assessment
  • Presentation of 2D/ top-down plan/s with selected ‘in garden’ hand drawn viewpoints
  • Recommended plant combinations and materials
  • Feedback incorporated into the next and final plan.

STEP 4 DETAIL PLAN/S

  • Plan/s detailing technical information for installation
  • Plan/s include final layout dimensions, detailed plant and material lists, garden features and colour schemes
  • A comprehensive addendum with further information relevant to the garden plan
  • Hardcopy or digital plans provided
  • Details of qualified landscapers for clients to obtain quotes from.

STEP 5 IMPLEMENTATION

As an additional service we can provide you with a quote to:

  • Obtain quotes on your behalf for landscape installers (e.g., decks, paving, rock walls)
  • Make site visits to ensure the garden is being constructed in line with the plan
  • Supply and install soft scaping such as planting (including soil repair and mulching) and non-structural garden features (e.g., irrigation, benches, stepping stones)
